IF I have completed some of my high school in another province, can those credits be transferred?
The only way for some of those credits to be recognized is if the Center Director deems them equivalent to courses in Quebec. To do this, you may be asked to complete an assessment. The results of the assessment will enable the Center Director or the Student Counsellor to place you in the appropriate level, and provide you with equivalent credits, when appropriate.

How long will it take me to graduate?
This question is best answered after you've met with the Center Director or the Student Counsellor as it really depends on how many credits you need to graduate. A rule of thumb is that one credit takes approximately 25 hours to complete, so if you have 4 credits to complete, you will need about 100 hours. A school year is usually 900 hours, so, depending on how much time you spend on your studies, you can complete up to 36 credits per year. Keep in mind you need 54 credits to complete a high school diploma.
If I don’t attend for a year and come back do I still have credits?
Absolutely! Once you complete a course (at any level) and earn credits (at the Secondary 4 or Secondary 5 level), they yours forever. The Secondary 4 and Secondary 5 credits will appear on your official transcript from the Ministry of Education forever.
